Summary: "Good little purchase"
Works well. General problem with pedometers is have to place properly: too tight to body and will undercount, too loose and will overcount. This unit works very well for the money

Summary: "The worst purchase I've made on Amazon"
Tho the item itself is attractive, it is not worth the plastic it's made of. Not once did it track my steps properly. I do a 2 mile trek daily, sometimes the pedometer would show 90+ steps, sometimes it would show a few hundred. Thinking it was the placement of the pedometer, tried several places on my hip, belt, and pocket, and never got sufficient results.
I would not recommended this item.

Summary: "not bad for the price."
i bought one for my tattoo artist who's trying to lose weight.
it said he waled over 17 steps, while sitting in a chair, working on my tattoo.
but for $5 it's worth it, just to get an idea.

Summary: "SM-2000 Step Pedometer"
Purchased this item as a gift for a friend. She likes it a lot. The steps are very accurate, she loves the color and the fact that it closes. Very reasonable in price and fast shipping.

Summary: "good little pedometer"
I read the reviews for this pedometer before I bought two.
They are simple to use and work rather well. They are very sensitive to movement, so it needs to be placed where you don't juggle.
I wear mine on the back and it works great. My daughter wears hers on the front.
You should have it attached to snug fitting waistband or belt for best results and accuracy. Again they are sensitive to juggling.
