Summary: "Sing It!"

Every since I first started playing Disney Stars Sing It I loved it, and the HSM3 version of the game is just as much fun as the Disney Stars version, with all the songs from HSM 1, 2, and 3!

Summary: "Great game for an HSM fan"

We bought this game for our daughter for Easter and she loves it! We are all big HSM fans, so were very excited to see this version for the Wii. What we liked most was ,unlike the first HSM sing it game, this one has actual videos from the movie which makes it so much more fun for my 9 and 4 year old. They play it for hours (and I even sang a few songs myself). The entertainment value is worth the price. We were not disappointed.

Summary: "Great for HSM Fans! (and not just tweens...)"

I'm a 24-year-old fan of all things musical, including the High School Musical movies. I previously purchased the original High School Musical Sing It for Wii (the one with music from the first and second movies) and was disappointed by the lame graphics and difficult menus... but I still couldn't resist this game when I saw it.

This game is definitely an improvement over the last one! (I plan on ditching my old game completely.) You get to sing along to the actual footage from the movies, and I like the menus much better. All in all I find it to be more user-friendly than the past game, and it has different levels for singing (Easy, Normal, Hard), which is great for beginners. It also allows you to choose which character part you wish to sing by name, rather than having to guess which characters are "Part 1" and "Part 2" in the old game. I thoroughly enjoy this, and went through at least half the songs the first time I played it.

I gave it four stars because I would really like to see an opportunity to download more songs. Wii is a great platform for party/get-together games, and a good karaoke game utilizing the Wii connectivity feature to stream or download songs would be a great thing. Also, I would like to see wireless microphones, because I feel like there's an audio delay between what I see on my HDTV and what I sing... if it had a calibration feature like Guitar Hero, that would improve it tremendously in terms of accuracy.

I may be an "older" fan of the Disney HSM franchise, but I think this would be really fun for kids too, especially if you put it on level "Easy" and just let them rock out!

Summary: "For 'amateurs', this is just hours of fun!"

I purchased this and extra microphones for my Grandkids (9,7,& 4). So far, they have spent a number of hours .. singing together (and separately) with them getting along together great. Looking at this as a toy "fun time", a confidence builder and shyness eliminator...it is one of the better "buys" for kids. (I certainly enjoy listening by phone to them in addition to "in person performances"!)
Looking at this as a quality toy, it is highly recommended. psv

Summary: "High School Sung Out"

There are sometimes moments in pop culture that can honestly be too much of a statement in time. It is unfortunately a big dissapointment that there is just too much of the High School Musical craze the past few years. While Hollywood has shown a bit too much of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens out there, it has honestly weighed a whole lot down on too much exposure in the franchise. Not only that as of a movie series, but the fact there have been too many lackluster video games based on the movie. We've already seen that with High School Musical Dance late last year, which dragged down the appeal from other dance games. Now, it seems as if it is about to try to bring a voice as a way we say just sing to the music.

Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3 Senior Year for the Nintendo Wii tries to bring in all out the feeling of the High School musical franchise as a karioke game for Wii owners, but doesn't brings in the sharps and high notes. Instead the game feels flat as a pancake and is just a b flat in fun. While the game is definitely just a game that feels like a fad for hard core fans of the tween series, it just fails to deliver the way recent music games like the innovative Lips did for the Xbox 360, and the Singstar had for the Playstation 2 & 3. While the graphics might seem impressive, the game doesn't feel like it is anything special. All throughout the game, you get to unlock and sing 25 different tunes not just from HSM3, but the earlier High School Musical films as well like What Time Is It, and other songs from the films. You do have some novelties from the game, including singing with the training of a vocal coach, and multiplayer action, but all in all it just doesn't feel like it is worth the money from your wallet.

All in all, Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3 Senior Year isn't really a must buy for hard core gamers alike, and for those who feel the need for music games, they'd be just better off looking for another title to belt out their vocals too. If you own a Wii, I would definitely consider sticking with Guitar Hero: World Tour or Rock Band instead, but if you're going to say what time is it, it is time to find something better to sing about.
