Summary: "Big help for older dogs."

We have two older dogs 14 and 13 and they were unable to jump in and out of the truck anymore. The Solvit ramp was the perfect solution, light weight and easy to use. Our dogs now can navigate in and out of the truck with ease! We place the ramp on the floor boards for a less steep incline and the non skid surface works great. The doggies don't hurt themselves trying to go for a ride anymore. Also, the price was very reasonable!

Summary: "A real back saver!"

Out of desperation, we needed a means to get our 70lb dog into the car as we no longer can lift her. Starting out using a just a leash on her neck to keep her where we wanted her to go as she was not thrilled with the idea, it took less than five days for her to get used to the idea and now without hesitation goes up and down the ramp. We found it helped to keep the ramp to one side of the car, not in the middle.

To say this has saved our backs is an understatement. The ramp is very well made, I can't imagine being able to make the product any lighter. This is a fantastic product. I highly recommend this, so does our dog!

Summary: "Nice pet ramp!"

We have a 8 yr old 75 lb lab who has the usual joint/arthritis problems. This ramp makes entering and exiting our car one less thing we have to worry about. It is well built and will provide years of reliable service. A sand paper adhesive keeps her from slipping on the way up or down.It takes up quite a bit of room in the car but folds and unfolds quickly. Our lab injured her leg jumping out of our car and I think this is a must have for any large breed over 5 years of age who is in and out of vehicles. Live and learn.

Summary: "No traction! My elderly dog fell off!"

Read all of the reviews and was aware that this had traction issues. It has no traction! I only have a station wagon and it was too steep with the sand paper bottom for my elderly dog to handle. He fell off! The thing is light weight and easy to handle just useless for it's intended purpose.
