This a wonderful family game, however in my household it's not educational, it's for leisure. My friends and i even place small wagers on the game.

Was not the size that I was looking for. I had ordered 2 of these games, kept one and returned the other. Found what I was looking for, I had wanted the bigger cards. These worked, needed at least 16 cards for a po-ke-no party.

My parents used to play this when I was little. It's still a lot of fun to play with friends and family!

As a little girl in the late 50's we use to watch my mother and grandmother and other members of the family play this game on Sunday nights, sort of family time. I had been looking for the origional game for a long time. Well, I was sort of disappointed that the boards are smaller now, but my mother just love the size of the boards and the easy to read cards. So, I guess I will be ordering myself and my grandaughters a game in the near future. mz_rozy

this is not as expected, the pokeno board I am use to playing with is set up differently (you get corners, four corners, center and pokeno). This board did not have four of a kind this was disappointing. I purchased it because I had not played in years and I thought the Jumbo Face cards would appeal to some of the seniors in my group that would be playing. I had ordered two one for my home and one to take on family vacation. I was not satisfied with this purchase because of the lack of four of a kind on the board. therefore I gave them to my grand children to play with. The younger one will learn how to match the cards to the board. They loved it they played for hours.
