Summary: "dangerous product!"
I called the 1 800 # about this product because of the resent problems with manufacturer and I am so upset....This is unsafe supplement to give to your dogs! The manufacturer was shut down for good! all the Synovi products are no longer safe for your pets. They recommended Nutramax products. also they said that whoever bought Synovi products in the past 3-4 months should not give those to their pets.Also the rep said that if anyone purchases this Synovi products on Amazon should expect their orders canceled.So why are they still here for us to buy them????!!! Hello Amazon! Take those product off of here!
I cant believe what is going on with todays manufacturers. Poor quality control,carelessness and rush to make a quick $ ,all lead to terrible outcomes for consumer. you can't trust anything on the market anymore.

This is the only glucosamine product that my dog will eat because it is a treat. I couldn't find it at a vet so I looked on Amazon. Here it was and so easy to find and order. And my dog LOVES it.

Summary: "Talked to company rep today."
I have used Synovi G3 for over two years on my miniature dachshund, Abby, and it has been practically a miracle drug for her. Two years ago, she could hardly walk or turn her head, definitely could not run or jump. Our local vet tried several types of treatment/medication, but none improved her situation. Then by luck, my wife talked to someone at work who had the same situation with their dachshund, and they recommended SynoviG3. Within two weeks, we could see a miraculous change in Abby!!!!.........she was almost back to her nomal self; within a month, she was back to her normal self, and has had no relapse since. Thank you SynoviG3.
DVM Pharmaceuticals is the name associated with SynoviG3. DVM was once located in Miami, FL, but was purchased by IVX Animal Health in St. Joseph, MO. Subsequently, IVX Animal Health was purchased by Teva Animal Health, Inc.(also in St. Joseph, MO), a subsidiary of Teva Pharmaceuticals, a giant, generic pharmaceutical company headquartered in Israel. I sent an email to Teva Animal Health last week and one of their reps contacted me by phone today. She advised that the company STILL PLANS TO PRODUCE THE SYNOVI PRODUCTS it has in the past, but doesn't know what the start date will be. There has been a problem with the manufacturing side (she didn't know the details) and the company is deligently working to resolve the problem. On another Synovi product site, someone wrote that DVM moved to a larger production facility, and the FDA would not approve the new facility. However, whenever their production resumes, I will be one of their first customers to order again.
P.S.-- I think the price currently stated for this product is inflated due to the shortage of product. I've never paid anywhere close to this amount for my past orders.

The FDA closed the company that makes this product in July 2009. Any product that is still for sale will either be expired or close to expiration. Plus the FDA closed them for unsafe manufacturing practices. Amazon should stop selling them, but at least beware. We got these instead, and they are working fine for our older dogs: Joint MAX TRIPLE Strength SOFT CHEWS (120 CHEWS)

My vet advised us to put our dogs on SynoviG3 chews for there arthritis. We came home and started reserching for this SynoviG3 product and found that it was cheaper to order thru Amazon.com, which is what we have done now several time. My dogs love this product and we will be back to purchase more in the future thur Amazon.com.
